I haven’t seen them PRE-FAB… though Woodland Scenics sells the perfect sheet-grass: I made a N-scale football field for the local high-school on my layout. I had to build the bleachers and such from scratch…http://www.woodlandscenics.com/index.htm

I would check http://www.walthers.com for PREISER figures from Europe

http://www.reynaulds.com/preiser/p_n_sports.asp?item=lngNumericSort and http://www.rocousa.com/search_results.asp?txtsearchParamTxt=&txtsearchParamCat=86&txtsearchParamType=ALL&txtsearchParamMan=18&txtsearchParamVen=ALL&txtFromSearch=fromSearch are links to PREISER N sports figures… you could modify the tennis players or others by scraping legs and painting to make shorts !!

    GOOD LUCK !!

In my opinion, If that is what you love to do then it is not a waste of money. If you love doing it then why don’t you take some time and learn how to do the lighted crossings and buildings, I am sure there is a way to learn how to do it.

Partial answer: Kato makes the “Salt Lake Route” Double track layout assortment, item #20-2010, in N scale. The MSRP (list price) is $760. It may be discounted at your local hobby shop or at web retailers.

i have been modeling in N scale model trains for awhile, im 20 yrs old. my layout is cool but it doesnt look real even though i tried landscaping it, it stills look plain and i dont have the skills to make lighted crossings or building. i have spent over $600.00 on this N scale stuff but im getting to the point where im like just forget it before i spend to much money in it and it breaks while im moving or sumthing!!! what do u think i should do? i love trains thought.

anyone know of a n-scale soccer field, or even n-scale soccer player figures? I can only find them in HO.?
I’m building an n-scale (1:160) model train layout (modern day, fictitious extension of the new haven rr. I’m a huge soccer fan, so want to incorporate a fielding into my layout. I’d love to find a pre-fab kit with goals, benches, players, bleachers, but at the very least need to find some players for the field.

    anyone know of any

How much does the “Salt Lake Route” cost?
I was thinking about building “the Salt Lake Route” by model railroader magazine. I am also aware that you can build it in both N and HO scales

So, how much does it cost to build the entire layout (minus the trains themselves)? If you could, please tell me how much it would be for each step… track, scenery, benchwork, buildings, ect. Also, please give me all sources………

    Thanks for you help!

By the way, i would like you to give me the pricing in both scales but I am most interested in N-scale
