    P.D across seconday coil / P.D across primarry coil =
    Number of turns in the secondary / Number of turns in the primary.
    Therfore,
    N /240 = 6 /120
    N = [6 /120]*240 = 12 turns.
    Verified .

    t = 15 sec/1 circle * 12 circles = 180 sec

    P = E²/R = 70²/6 = 816.667 W

    Energy = P*t = 816.667 * 180 = 147000 W∙sec = 40.833 W∙hr

    Obviously, the question can be answered. If the input data are crazy, then the answer will be equally crazy. More than 1 HP for a model train? I’d call that crazy…..

    needed. If the primary coil of the transformer has 240 windings, show that there should be 12 turns in the secondary coil.
