Fun Things to do in Miami
Want to experience Miami in an unforgettable way? Go skydiving over the Everglades! Different companies in Miami offer tandem and solo skydives and parachute jumps over some of the most beautiful scenery South Florida has to offer.

If the thought of free falling at 120 mph doesn't tempt you, perhaps a helicopter tour may. You'll get that same bird's eye view of Miami, but will a little less of the fear.

Fun Things to do in Fort Lauderdale
The Fort Lauderdale Water Taxis are your best bet for navigating all the cool things that Fort Lauderdale has to offer, and it only costs about $10 for an all-day pass.

Fort Lauderdale Beach offers amazing parasailing. Take a lesson that will bring you 800 feet over the sparkling blue ocean.

Ready to see what Fort Lauderdale has to offer on land? Visit the Fort Lauderdale Swap Shop, an indoor/outdoor market that offers acres and acres of pretty much everything. One of the world's largest flea markets, the Fort Lauderdale Swap Shop also hosts a 13-screen drive-in movie theater. The Swap Shop (which strays very far from your conception of the traditional "shop") is located at 3291 West Sunrise Boulevard.

Fun Things to do in Miami Beach
To truly experience all that Miami Beach has to offer you'll need to get into the water. Rent a power boat in Miami Beach and go along the coast to see the beauty of the ocean, the shore, and the city all at once. Go as far as Coral Gables, Black Point Marina, or Oleta Park and you may even see some wild manatees! (If seeing manatees is on your Miami "to do" list, you may want to guarantee your chances of viewing some by heading over to the Miami Seaquarium.)

Other water-based activities you can do off the Miami coast include scuba diving through Miami's 10 artificial reefs, snorkeling with an eco-adventure tour, or going deep sea fishing. True adventure seekers may opt to swim with dolphins, rent a wave runner, or take a windsurf lesson.

While the list of water activities can go on and on, there are also a number of fun things you can do on land in Miami Beach, like renting a scooter and riding through South Beach. Make sure you take some time to park your scooter and head into South Beach's trendy shops and restaurants while you're there. Of particular interest in the area is the art deco district, Ocean Drive, Lincoln Road, and Espanola Way. Make sure you dress to impress!

Fun Things to do in Key West, Florida
One of the North America's only living coral reefs is located in Key West, Florida, and it would be a shame not to become a part of it during your visit to the Keys. We recommend signing up with Lost Reef Adventures and experiencing a night dive to the glowing natural reefs under the water's surface. A truly rewarding and exciting adventure.

Looking for something a bit more…unusual? Join a ghost tour of Key West. Every night at 8pm a 90-minute walking tour departs from the La Concha Holiday Inn. During this one mile walking tour, you'll learn about the more bizarre side of Key West: about pirate tales, haunted dolls, and unmarked graves. A fun family outing!

Another family-friendly recommendation is to take the Conch Train Tour. This is a great way to get in as much of Key West as possible in the shortest amount of time. This 90-minute train ride takes visitors to see about 60 of Key West's sites. The bright yellow trains are open-air, so make sure to choose a sunny day to take this interesting and informative tour.

Cool and Interesting Things to do in Miami, Florida
Sick of the beach? Well Miami, Florida and its surrounding areas have much more to offer than the ocean blue. Take a visit to the interesting Fruit and Spice Park, a 35-acre park that showcases 75 varieties of banana, 125 varieties of mango (red, yellow, green, orange, and purple), and 70 varieties of bamboo, among many other exotic edibles. You can take a tram tour of the premises, tasting fruits and smelling spices along the way.

Another cool thing to do in the area—also a little off the beaten path—is to visit the Voodoo shops, or "Botanicas," in Miami's Little Haiti. Little Haiti is located at 54th Street and NW 2nd Avenue. Pick up some ancient artifacts and try your own hand at Voodoo or Santeria.
